You do not have to manage a concern on your own. The right support will depend on what has happened, what you need and what you would like to happen next.
If you provide safe contact details, a member of the Safeguarding Team will contact you during College working hours. The Safeguarding Team can listen, help you understand your options, consider immediate safety and arrange or signpost appropriate support.
Depending on the type of report made, you might be offered a referral to the Student Support Team, a wellbeing appointment or a meeting with the Safeguarding Team.
The Student Support Team can provide information, guidance and access to appropriate College support. The support offered will depend on your circumstances and may include wellbeing support, practical guidance, study related support or signposting to another service.
External and specialist support
In some circumstances, an external or specialist organisation may be better placed to help. The Safeguarding Team can explain available options and, where appropriate, support a referral.
Accessible support
If you need information or support in a different format, communication support or another reasonable adjustment, tell us what would help. You will not be disadvantaged for asking for an adjustment.
