- Victim Support supports victims and witnesses for cases held at the Sherriff Court and Justice of the Peace Court.
- An automatic letter offering support will be provided to;
- Specific support for victims/survivors under the age of 18 years old who have experienced domestic and sexual abuse is available through Victim Support.
- Support for people who have experienced Stalking, Hate Crime and those over the age of 66 years of age.
- The VIA Team keep witnesses up to date on court processes including what to expect, if the accused pleads guilty and if the accused is acquitted.
